It always amazes me that God is a personal God. He wants you to ask him for simple things that are within your heart. I had been praying for a certain style of purse. My husband teased me that his God doesn’t care about silly things such as a purse. I disagreed with him. As I walked into the thrift store sitting on the counter was the exact purse that I had been praying for years. I love my personal God. He knows my heart all the way down to a purse!
God is good and gracious.
So true, we all try to force our own agenda or will and it’s hard to switch it up to what God / Holy Spirit wants.
