Novenas …

Growing up I knew friends and their families that did novenas. Novenas have you focus on particular pray for nine days giving the pray more time to sink into one’s head.

Please don’t feel that you can’t do a novena if you’re not of a particular religious faith, spiritual growth comes in many forms. One can gain spiritual growth from many different cultures.

Stealing one’s joy …

Why does it seem certain people know what buttons to push, making you so angry? They ruin one’s day if they are not happy they have to make everyone miserable and steel one’s joy.

I should not allow this to happen but I fall into the same trap every time. Lord help me to just keep quiet.

Romans 15:13 (AMP)

13 May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing [through the experience of your faith] that by the power of the Holy Spirit you will abound in hope and overflow with confidence in His promises.

John 10:10 (AMP)

10 The thief comes only in order to steal and kill and destroy. I came that they may have and enjoy life, and have it in abundance [to the full, till it overflows].

Love in relationships…

The bible says that we should love others as we love ourselves. This can be especially hard when other’s don’t even like themselves. It’s so hard to continue in some relationships when you continually have mountains to concur and they have been the same mountains over and over again. Is there a time when you just say enough?

John 13:34-35 AMPC

I give you a new commandment: that you should love one another. Just as I have loved you, so you too should love one another. By this shall all [men] know that you are My disciples, if you love one another [if you keep on showing love among yourselves].AMPC: Amplified Bible, Classic Edition

Surrender to self …

1 Timothy 1:4 (AMP)

nor to pay attention to legends (fables, myths) and endless genealogies, which give rise to useless speculation and meaningless arguments rather than advancing God’s program of instruction which is grounded in faith [and requires surrendering the entire self to God in absolute trust and confidence].

My God Incidence …

My God Incidences started many years before I started blogging. I always felt the close awareness of the Holy Spirit within me. I noticed that if I listened to these prompts or as I called them “My God Incidence” my life felt more fulfilled. So this blog is a page that I can put these “God Incidence” in front of me, to see the constant wave, flow or presence that the Holy Spirit has in my life.

“O ye of little faith”

“My God Incidence” took me to this today. Why do I always question my faith? I always felt I had faith, at least when I was younger.

Matthew 6:30 (AMP)

30 But if God so clothes the grass of the field, which is alive and green today and tomorrow is [cut and] thrown [as fuel] into the furnace, will He not much more clothe you? You of little faith!
