Giving thanks …
Yesterday was a difficult day, it was a very emotional day, to say the least. Our elderly dog had to have a tumor taken off his face. They gave him a local due to his age. I was able to be with him during surgery to help calm him down. I hugged him from behind and did an unceasing prayer to Christ Jesus as the Dr performed the surgery. It took a while but she was able to remove the tumor, do stitches, and applied crazy glue to the stitches!
Thank you, Lord Jesus, for all of my blessings and for surgical crazy glue!
Pray to St Jude …
Father in the name of Christ Jesus give me strength, wisdom, favor, financial success (in my husband and children’s work), health, watch over our homes and watch over my family (husband, children, grandchildren, and extended family) that they see and follow you when you call them. Let me see what you want me to do today and every day of my life. Allowing others to see Christ through and in me. In the name of Christ Jesus Amen!

Time …
Where have the days gone, they are flying by? Another October has started and I am still struggling to find the time. Time to just complete my daily tasks and wondering why some days I can do everything that needs to be done, and then other days I can’t even get the dishes put away.
I have been reading bible verses on time, time management. Very confusing. Is there no verses for lack or loss of time and personal frustration.
I have not been focusing on what I usually do each morning. Pray before my feet hit the floor for Holy Spirit guidance. To get outside of myself that I need to do more for others. Even if its just a menial job.
Thankful …
I have a friend that is doing service work in Africa. He is a very special person in my life. He is a truly compassionate person, a good Christian.
We as Americans do not realize how many blessings we have. These African families have to walk 10 miles one way to obtain water, and not so clean water.
Why are some people very Christ-like and others are not…
