Worry …

Why oh why can’t I stop worrying? The times when I do I am at peace and so calm. But when worry starts the welling up in me its terrible. Help me Lord Jesus to cast my cares unto you.

Luke 12:22 NLT

Then, turning to his disciples, Jesus said, “That is why I tell you not to worry about everyday life—whether you have enough food to eat or enough clothes to wear.

1 Peter 5:7 (KJV)

Casting all your care upon him; for he careth for you.

Bad things happen …

Why do bad things happen to people, especially when you feel that you’re doing your best to be good. Why did he give us free will? These are a few of many questions I want to ask God when we meet one day.

I hear an inner voice, as I call my God incidence, steering me to keep listening to my inner voice, my Holly Spirit to do what is right.

John 14:26

26 But the [a]Helper (Comforter, Advocate, Intercessor—Counselor, Strengthener, Standby), the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in My name [in My place, to represent Me and act on My behalf], He will teach you all things. And He will help you remember everything that I have told you.

Grieving …

I’m trying to find my God Incidences lately, but it’s getting harder and harder. Life seems to get very cold each passing day as you get older and especially when you’re in poor health. Finding the silver lining seems dull and not silver any longer but gray. Sometimes I am grieving about my own life, the loss of certain parts that I have lost, and I’m not able to convey the loss to others.

“Imagine a person with a chronic illness as forever walking down a dividing line between the past and the future. Looking backward, he can see everything illness has taken from him or has forced him to relinquish. Looking forward, he can’t see anything quite clearly. There’s no going back to the past, and the future is uncertain.” https://www.socialworktoday.com/archive/070714p18.shtml

Psalm 34:18
18 The LORD is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit.

Psalm 73:26
26 My flesh and my heart may fail, but God is the strength of my heart and my portion forever.

The New Year …

Well, it has been a long start to a new year. We had to put down a long time animal friend due to cancer, the polar vortex is taking over the entire county and friends are having many health issues.

When you’ve lost hope:
I will bless you with a future filled with hope—a future of success, not of suffering.– Jeremiah 29:11 (CEV)

When you need strength:
But those who trust in the Lord for help will find their strength renewed. They will rise on wings like eagles; they will run and not get weary; they will walk and not grow weak.– Isaiah 41:10
